Teen Driver Ed

Step 1 Sign-up for class at  Angelo Driving Academy

Step 2 -  Sign-up at local DPS Office (see Texas License/Permit  Requirements)
 
Step 3 - Begin Driver Ed on Day 1 of scheduled  class:

Please bring pens(black or blue),  folder with 3-hole notebook paper to class and signed copy of the dress code.

 Step 4 - DAY 4 - Take  permit written exam as early as after 1st (3) days (Note: This must be done outside of class time)

*Make sure ALL Certificate Dates and Information is filled in before presenting .

Step 2: Step to get  Texas License/ Permit Requirements
(Appointment date must be AFTER student pass written permit test).  

Make  Appointment (Now but ensure it is after teen's 4thh class day)
Take the following with you when visiting your local Office:
1, Your Student (if under 18)
2. Your Parent (if under 18)
3. Glasses or Contact lens (if needed)
4. Have the following:
       a. Apply in person at a Texas driver license
           office.
       b. Present documents that verify 
          your identity 
                 1. Must have original Birth
                     Certificate, 
                 2. Social Security card,
                 3. VOE  (Verification of Enrollment)  VOE is good for 30 days! 

        c. Texas Residency Affidavit (click and print form)
