Pre-registration

Step 1 Sign-up for class at  Angelo Driving Academy

Step 2 -  Sign-up at local Licensing office (see  Requirements info in the right side column )
 
Step 3 - Begin Driver Ed on Day 1 of scheduled  class

 Step 4 - Take Permit written exam as early as after 1st (3) days (Note: This must be done outside of class time).

​All on-site classes/drives are required to follow Federal, State and Local guidelines.

​Take the following with you when visiting your Licensing Office 
1, Your Student (if under 18)
2. Your Parent (if under 18)
3. Glasses or Contact lens (if needed)
4. Have the following:
       a. Apply in person at a Texas driver license  office.
       b. Present documents that verify 
          your identity 
                 1. Must have original Birth 
                     Certificate, 
                 2. Social Security card, 
                 3. VOE

        c. Texas Residency Affidavit (click and print form)​

30 Hours Additional Behind-the-Wheel Instruction Required for Teens: This is signed and completed by the parent or legal guardian before teen gets driver's license and turned into the Licensing Office. Parent will sign 30 hour portion of certificate and Driver Impact Video certificate as the 'instructor'.

3rd Party Road testing Requirements

Step 5 - Schedule 3rd party  Road test with Angelo Driving Click  here.

To take the road test you must have:
 Licensing Website Impact Video
LOG 30 HOUR
New VOE
DE 964 DE Completion Certificate 

*Make sure ALL Certificate Dates and Information is filled in before presenting to Licensing Office.
