- Online in English of Spanish Steps: 1. Take course online (does not include drives) and receive scores of 70% or higher on written exams to receive certificate of completion.
2. Take certificate of completion to Licensing Office to receive permit (you will not have to take written exam again)
3. Make an appointment with Licensing Office to get your permit or take your driving test for your driver's license!
Course Objective: Driver's education course exclusively for adults. This course offered in a traditional classroom setting to persons who are age 18 to under 25 years of age for the education and examination requirements for the issuance of a driver's license under Texas Transportation Code, and in accordance with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and Department of Public Safety guidelines.
